A wedding story from the internet
"Hi- I jsut got our 9/9 wedding proofs back,ugh...We've
had a bad experience with our photographer, who came with our reception hall. I could not reach him, until only a few days
before the wedding, then a women called me the day before and said she would be our photographer, she showed up late, dressed
like a hippy, and did a terrible job! She missed key shots. We were extremely late being announced into the hall, while
our guess waited, plus it took away from our night!
Now, I just got the proofs our only real
memory of the wedding, besides the video, and I wanted to cry. She took half the shots of me from my "bad"
side, something I would expect a 'pro' to realize! A lot of the shots don't even look centered or are taken at
an angle. Now, I realize some shots are more difficult, but come on..What am I supposed to do here? I asked her to take
some candid shots and photos of our guest, well, gee, I have about 3 or those...I am greatly disappointed with all this,
I couldn't even go back to work after picking up the proofs at lunch time. I just wanted to cry. He is not very expensive
and has been in business for a while.
There is many photos of me with my eyes closed, and she kept
making me tilt my head which looked funny in some shots, she kept saying "trust me" HA,...What should I do now?
Put back on my gown and rent him a tux, Haha?? Please, all you brides, have a sit down meeting with your photographer and
be very specific on what YOU want, not what they think is right...!
